Hola! Folks. I am back with another blog and this blog is all about healthy skincare regimen and how you can keep your skin healthy and super glowing during summers.
Skin is the body’s largest organ but when it’s compromised, the skin’s ability to work as an effective barrier is impaired. Healthy beautiful skin is the one which has normal PH balance and is neither too oily nor too dry. It is smooth and soft to touch; it has an even skin tone; and is free of skin problems such as blemishes, blackheads, acne, wrinkles and visible pores. Healthy skin is important because it is the layer that forms the outermost covering of our body and protects us from skin damage.
Exercising can keep the skin healthy as it increased blood flow to the skin results in increased neuronal stimulation that promotes the function of the sweat glands. Sweating, in turn, eliminates toxins that block pores and cause pimples and breakouts. Also, when we exercise, the skin produces more natural oils that moisturize it and keep the skin supple and healthy.
A healthy diet can help you look and feel your best. Eat plenty of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean proteins. Drinking plenty of water helps keep your skin hydrated. Uncontrolled stress can make your skin more sensitive and trigger acne breakouts and other skin problems. To encourage healthy skin and a healthy state of mind take steps to manage your stress. Get enough sleep, set reasonable limits, scale back your to-do list and make time to do the things you enjoy.
The results might be more dramatic than you expect. Many people struggle to figure out how to get clear skin year-round. Using high-quality products is essential, but using them correctly is equally important. To ensure your skin gets the tender loving care it needs and deserves, start with the basics by steps for washing your face. Water temperature should be kept lukewarm and you should avoid excessive exposure to water when washing your face as this can cause dryness. Do not aggressively scrub at your skin; this won’t unclog pores but it can cause your skin to sag and cause inflammation.
Different seasons affect the skin differently:
·Summer – The sun can prove to be both a boon and curse. Humid and warm air can be pleasant for a while but overexposure to the sun in this season can lead to serious skin problems like sunburns, or minor ones such as fine lines, wrinkles, and skin pigmentation.
·Rainy – During this season the skin can become waterlogged making it easier for the skin to be damaged.
·Winter – cold and dry airstrip off the skin of its moisture making it extremely dry and flaky, it can even cause windburns and it will make your skin dry and dull.
Follow this daily regimen for healthy skin:
·Cleansing – It is important to keep the skin clean by following a skincare routine. Find a cleanser that works best for your skin type. It is also necessary to clean regularly but over-cleansing dehydrates the skin and needs to be avoided. It is not required to use a cleanser at night, a makeup remover to gently clean the eye area and then washing the face with water is enough. To follow up on the cleansing process, a toner may be used if preferred.
·Moisturizing – Dry skin necessitates the use of a moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated and soft.
·Applying sunscreen – It is essential to evade skin damage due to the sun. This can be done by using a sunscreen of SPF 30 from early on and on all days.
·If you are the one suffering from acne often, its time you think of including fiber-rich foods in your diet. One of the reasons for acne breakouts is indigestion. And the best solution discovered so far to improve your digestive system is having foods rich in fiber. Having whole-grain bread, brown rice, apples, bananas, oatmeal are proved solutions to minimize acne.
·Drink enough water throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated. Do not allow your skin to feel thirsty. For a soft, supple and dewy look, water is a must. Follow this diet regime for healthy skin and cut down on all fried and unhealthy fatty foods.
