As we all know, the beauty of our skin and hair gets bogged down after the Diwali celebrations. With all the air pollution levels and bursting crackers outside, and we consume so much of oily-food items and sweets. And just when you realize the celebration is over. you see a tiny pimple erupting on your flawless skin. DIY treatments for any skin type is best. Take 2 tablespoon wheat bran and 1 tablespoon each of ground almonds, curd, honey and rose water. Blend all the ingredients into a paste and apply. Cleansing
The first and foremost tip to follow post-Diwali is to remove all sort of dirt and grime from the hair that gets stick from the harmful environment. So Wash your hair with a gentle shampoo to cool and cleanse your scalp. Then follow up with a good conditioner which doesn’t contain heavy chemicals and apply till the length of the tips. This will tame dryness and will make your hair soft and silky.


Hot oil therapy
Oiling your hair is really important. You can heat some raw coconut oil and gently massage into your hair and tips of your hair. The second step is to Dip a towel in hot water, Squeeze out all the liquid and wrap the towel around your head from behind and let it remain for 15-20 minutes. Especially during the festive season, our hair becomes rough and dull. It is necessary to remove the built-up impurities from the scalp. For the solution, you can make a natural hair pack. Take one egg and a tablespoon of honey and mix them well in a bowl and apply it on the scalp gently. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then wash off with a mild shampoo. This will make your hair healthier and give shine to your hair.


Use Hair serum:
To avoid frizziness, use a good hair serum which will give your hair an extra amount of protection. As much as our skin needs nourishment our scalp needs that too so using a serum will nourish your roots deeply.

■Avoid using styling tools
Now, this is the time to do some extra care and give it some rest and put aside those heat-producing tools for a while. Using this on dull and damaged hair can further cause your hair more damage. So, avoid using them. Also, don’t do any chemical treatments on yours. In case of hair styling, go for blow drying in place of ironing.
